None see the rain in my eyes
the tears I am hideing
None hear the thunder inside
the scream I hold back

I'm suffocating silently
in this never-ending night
a painful reminder
that I'm loosing the fight

I'm in a different reality
drowning in shadows deep
and behind the looking glass
I'm crying myself to sleep

night
after night

None see the marks in my skin
the scars I am hideing
None hear the abuse against the wall
the anxiety I can't hold back

In crowds I try to shine
I'm the one I wished to be
the girl in front of the looking glass
the girl who lives peaceful in my dreams

But I'm only a shadow from the sun
forgotten in the darkest night
mirroring the beauty of tomorrow
searching for yesterdays light

None see the lie in my smile

None hear the truth in the wind
